The Volcanoes National Park is a forested area in the Virunga Mountains that border Rwanda, Uganda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. This is Rwanda's premier tourist attraction where you can track a habituated family group of mountain gorillas. The highlight point will be spending an hour with the remarkably peaceful gorillas despite their size and appearance as they go about their daily life, feeding, playing, resting and raising their infants.



Akagera National Park is home for animals like elephants, buffalos, Giraffes, zebras and more than a dozen types of antelopes that inhabit the park. Most commonly the handsome chestnut-coated impalas, but also the diminutive oribi and secretive bushbucks, the ungainly tsessebe, the world's largest antelopes and the statuesque Cape eland.
