Arrival and Welcome (9:00 AM):

Arrive at Nyandungu Ecopark, an urban oasis in the heart of Kigali that showcases Rwanda’s commitment to conservation and sustainability. Meet our expert guides for an overview of the day's activities and essential safety information.



Guided Nature Walk (9:30 AM):

Begin your adventure with a serene guided nature walk through the park's diverse habitats. Explore lush wetlands, forested areas, and open grasslands, each home to a variety of plant and animal species. Our guides will share insights into the park's indigenous flora and fauna, highlighting the critical role these ecosystems play in maintaining biodiversity.



Bird Watching Session (10:00 AM):

Join a bird watching session to discover the rich avian life that thrives in Nyandungu. Spot and identify various bird species, from vibrant kingfishers to elusive waterfowl, while learning about bird behavior and the importance of habitat preservation.



Picnic Lunch (12:30 PM):

Enjoy a delicious picnic lunch in a picturesque setting within the park. Savor local Rwandan cuisine while reflecting on the morning’s experiences and enjoying the tranquil surroundings.



Wetland Exploration (1:30 PM):

Explore the park's extensive wetland area, a haven for wildlife and a crucial component of the local ecosystem. Understand the importance of wetlands in water purification, flood control, and supporting biodiversity, and discover various plant species that thrive in these environments.

Price Per Person: $130 (Charged equally).

Fees include: Transport in a 4x4 Land cruiser, entry fees and activities fees, water onboard, lunch and soft drinks.



CANCELLATION POLICY BY TRAVELLER

● 60 days or more prior to trip departure - Loss of deposit

● Between 30 and 59 days prior to trip departure - 50% of total booking cost or loss of deposit to hotels etc; whichever is the greater

● Less than 30 days prior to departure - 100% of the total booking cost

● Loss of money paid for park activities or postpone or reschedule the trip for NOT more than one year in unforeseen circumstances and catastrophes such as world pandemics to mention just a few.



Deposits are made in full to ensure that people are committed to showing up for the trip.
