The day trip will take place in the remarkable Volcanoes National Park, located in the northwestern part of Rwanda, near the border with the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Uganda. Specifically, the hike will focus on the iconic Mount Bisoke, one of the park's most prominent and visually striking volcanic peaks.Participants will embark on a guided hike to the summit of Mount Bisoke, which stands at an impressive elevation of 3,700 meters (12,175 feet) above sea level. The challenging yet rewarding trek will take hikers through diverse and breathtaking landscapes, including dense montane forests, lush alpine meadows, and rugged volcanic terrain.Along the way, hikers will have the opportunity to witness a stunning array of flora and fauna, including the endemic and critically endangered mountain gorillas, as well as a variety of other primate species, such as golden monkeys and l'Hoest's monkeys.
