The 5-day field trip will take place in Volcanoes National Park, located in the northwestern region of Rwanda, bordering the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Uganda. This park is part of the Virunga Massif, a chain of volcanoes that straddle the borders of the three countries.Embark on a once-in-a-lifetime journey to encounter the endangered mountain gorillas, one of the most awe-inspiring primate species on the planet. Participants will have the chance to observe these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. Witness the playful and agile golden monkeys, a species endemic to the Virunga Massif, as they roam through the bamboo forests of the park.Immerse yourself in the rich cultural heritage of Rwanda by visiting the Ibyiwacu Cultural Village, where you will learn about traditional practices, crafts, and the local way of life. Explore the Ellen Degeneres campus and learn about the conservation of the gorillas.This is a research and educational center near Volcanoes.Marvel at the stunning beauty of the Twin Lakes, Burera and Ruhondo, which are nestled between the Virunga Volcanoes, offering picturesque views and opportunities for relaxation and exploration.

CANCELLATION POLICY
● 60 days or more prior to trip departure - Loss of deposit
● Between 30 and 59 days prior to trip departure - 50% of total booking cost or loss of deposit to hotels etc; whichever is the greater
● Less than 30 days prior to departure - 100% of the total booking cost
● Loss of money paid for park activities or postpone or reschedule the trip for NOT more than one year in unforeseen circumstances and catastrophes such as world pandemics to mention just a few.
