Conservation, adaptation and resilience in the Tropics required a multidisciplinary approach in the time. However in the long run a interdisciplinary approach like one health will have to be proposed. This symposia brings in the multidisciplinary approach, nurturing Africas future through youth empowerment, cultivation of drought-tolerant crops, implementing of one health model, conserving medicinal plants and embracing diverse knowledge systems in conservation. Because of its multidisciplinary nature, this session assesses the empowerment of youths, cultivation of drought tolerant crops, implementation of one health model, embracing diverse knowledge systems and importance of medicinal plants in combating Tuberculosis in conservation, adaptation and resilince in the Tropics. Noteworthy is the diverse nature of the presenters and bringing in different dimensions into conservation.
